The Serralves Foundation brings three things together: the Museum of Contemporary Art, a white building by Álvaro Siza opened in 1999; the Casa de Serralves, a pink 1930s Art Deco villa; and an 18-hectare park.
The park combines formal gardens, woodland, a lake, a farm and a treetop walkway. The museum's exhibitions change through the year and usually feature international artists.
