Tibidabo

It is the highest summit of the Collserola hills, at 512 metres, and visible from almost anywhere in Barcelona. It is crowned by the Temple of the Sacred Heart, built between 1902 and 1961 and topped by a large statue of Christ with open arms.

Next to the church is the amusement park, opened in 1901 and one of the oldest still running in the world, with period rides such as the aeroplane and the Talaia. The views take in the city, the sea and, on clear days, Montserrat.
