It stands on Kensington Church Street, on a site that has had a pub since the 18th century; it took Churchill's name after the Second World War. The front is covered in window boxes and hanging baskets of flowers, and at Christmas in fir trees and lights, making it one of London's most photographed pubs.
Inside, ceiling and walls are crammed with objects, portraits and Churchill memorabilia. It was one of London's first pubs to serve Thai food, in the glass-roofed room at the back, still very popular.
