Graça viewpoint

Its official name is Miradouro Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, after the poet, who has a bust here. It sits in the forecourt of the Graça church and convent, under tall shady pines, with the castle opposite and the Baixa, the Tagus and the bridge beyond.

The kiosk serves drinks and snacks at tables under the trees, and at sunset it fills with young people and street musicians. It is livelier than Senhora do Monte, a few minutes further up.
