The building went up in 1921 as a showroom for Wolseley cars and later became a bank. In 2003 Chris Corbin and Jeremy King turned it into a grand café in the Viennese style, with high ceilings, columns, black marble floors and brass lamps.
It opens early for breakfast and serves all day: full English, eggs, Viennese pastries, Wiener schnitzel, cakes and afternoon tea. It is a meeting place for St James's and Mayfair.
