A'DAM Lookout

The A'DAM tower was Shell's office building from 1971 and now houses a hotel, offices and restaurants. At the top, around 100 metres up, a glazed hall and an open-air deck look out over the centre, the port and the polders.

A lift with light effects takes you up in under a minute. The best-known attraction is Over the Edge, a swing that sways out beyond the edge of the tower; there is also a bar and an indoor virtual reality ride.
