Mirador del Valle

It sits on the ring road on the far side of the Tagus, beside the hermitage of the Virgen del Valle. From here you get the classic view of Toledo: the whole city on its hill, wrapped in a bend of the river, with the cathedral and the Alcázar dominating the skyline.

This is the image on postcards and in many paintings, and at sunset, when the stone turns orange, it fills with people and cameras.
