U Zlatého tygra

Old Town

It is an old-school tavern on Husova street in the Old Town: a plain room with long shared tables and unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell delivered by tank. Writer Bohumil Hrabal had his regular table here and drank here until his death in 1997.

In 1994 President Václav Havel brought Bill Clinton here for a beer with Hrabal. Most tables are reserved for regulars.
