Camparino in Galleria

Duomo

Davide Campari, son of the liqueur's inventor, opened the bar in 1915 at the entrance to the Galleria, facing the Duomo. It keeps its original Art Nouveau decoration: mosaics of flowers and birds, wrought-iron lamps and a wood-and-metal counter.

Its signature is the Campari seltz: Campari served with soda water piped up to the counter from the cellar, just as in 1915. Upstairs there's a sit-down room, quieter and pricier.
