Via Montenapoleone is the spine of the Quadrilatero della Moda, the four streets made up of Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni and Corso Venezia. Almost every major Italian and international fashion house has a shop in its 18th- and 19th-century palazzi, alongside historic jewellers and pastry shops such as Cova.
Even if you buy nothing, it's worth it for the windows and the palazzo courtyards you can glimpse from the doorways. On nearby Via Gesù, the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum preserves a house decorated in Renaissance style in the 19th century.
