This pastry shop opened in 1896 opposite the Bolhão market and keeps its old-house feel, with long display cases, wooden counters and a tea room at the back.
The cases hold all the Portuguese classics: pastéis de nata, custard-filled bolas de Berlim, pão de ló sponge cake, convent egg-yolk sweets and fresh bread. It also serves simple lunches at midday.
