It is on Calle Mesón del Moro in the heart of Santa Cruz, with a tiled front, a wooden counter and hams hanging from the ceiling. It is one of those Seville taverns where the atmosphere matters as much as the food.
Its strengths are montaditos, especially the carne mechada (stuffed pork), cured meats and Iberian ham, plus sherries from Jerez and Sanlúcar by the glass. Being a minute from Las Columnas, many people do both on the same tapas round.
