Before you go
The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and Stedelijk all sit around the same square. Book the Van Gogh first, as it sells no tickets at the door, and save the Stedelijk for the afternoon.
Tickets are released on Tuesdays at 10:00 for six weeks later, only at annefrank.org. If you miss out, keep checking the site, as places sometimes free up.
Rembrandt's house, Our Lord in the Attic and the Royal Palace are all walkable from one another. The Maritime Museum lies east, a stroll from the station.
The palace closes on some days for royal events. Look at the calendar on its official website before you go.
Checked on November 4, 2026. Opening hours and tickets can change, so check each place’s website before you go.
