How to see Madrid from above

  1. Debod for sunset

    The park around the Temple of Debod fills up at sunset: arrive 20–30 minutes early to get a spot on the edge facing Casa de Campo.

  2. Rooftops charge entry

    The Círculo de Bellas Artes rooftop and the Cibeles Palace viewpoint charge for entry and have limited capacity; check their websites for times and skip the sunset rush if you hate queues.

  3. Pair Cibeles and the Círculo

    They are five minutes apart at the start of Gran Vía, so you can go up one and look across at the other.
